Objective : Introduction to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) by PMI, USA. PMBOK Version 6 comprises of 49 processes grouped into 10 knowledge areas and 5 process groups of Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring&controlling and closing. Initiation and planning together can be considered as planning. Execution is the ‘Do’ part of the project. Monitoring is the ‘Check’ part of it and and Controlling and closing is the ‘Act’ part of it.
